🏵 *ప్రసూతి సెలవు (MATERNITY LEAVE)* 🏵

@  వివాహం ఐన మహిళా ఉద్యోగికి కాన్పుకు 180 రోజులు జీతం తో కూడిన సెలవు మంజూరు చేయబడుతుంది.

@  ఈ సెలవు ఇద్దరు జీవించి యున్న పిల్లలు వరకు మాత్రమే వర్తిస్తుంది.

@   అంతే గానీ ఎన్నో సారి ప్రసూతి సెలవు వాడుకుంటున్నారు? అనే దానితో సంబంధం లేదు.

@   చనిపోయిన బిడ్డను ప్రసవించినా ఈ సెలవు వర్తిస్తుంది.

@  కాన్పు నాటికి ఇద్దరు కంటే తక్కువ జీవించి యున్న పిల్లలు ఉన్నపుడు మాత్రమే ఈ సెలవు అనుమతి0చ బడుతుంది.

@  మొదటి కానుపులో ఒక్కరు, రెండవ కాన్పు లో కవలలు జన్మించినా దీనిని వాడుకోవచ్చు.

@   మొదటి కాన్పులో కవలలు పుట్టి, ఇద్దరూ జీవించి ఉంటే రెండవ కాన్పుకు ప్రసూతి సెలవు వర్తించదు.

@   వేసవి సెలవుల్లో ప్రసవించిన,ఆ తేదీ నుండి 180 రోజులు ప్రసూతి సెలవు మంజూరుచేస్తారు.

@   వేసవి సెలవుల్లో మధ్యలో ప్రసూతి సెలవు పూర్తి ఐన ,ముందస్తు అనుమతి తో రీ ఓపెన్ నాడు విధులలో చేరవచ్చు.

@   వైద్య ధ్రువ పత్రం ఆధారంగా ఇతర సెలవుల ను ప్రసూతి సెలవులకు ముందు లేక వెనుక కలిపి వాడుకోవచ్చు.

@   ప్రసూతి సెలవులో ఉన్నప్పుడు మామూలుగా పొందుతున్న అన్ని కంపెన్సేటరి భత్యములు పొందవచ్చును.

@   ప్రసూతి సెలవు మధ్యలో ఇంక్రిమెంట్ ఉన్న సందర్భంలో విధులలో చేరిన తర్వాత మాత్రమే మంజూరు చేయబడుతుంది.

👨‍👧‍👧 *APFR 101(a)*
"A competent authority may grant leave on average pay to married female government employees temporary or permanent for a period not exceeding 180 days in the case of *CONFINEMENT*

*Commentary Confinement means:*

The act of confining or the state of being confined.

The period from the onset of labour to the birth of a child (Gynaecology & Obstetrics) there is no word that prescribes delivery should have been taken place.

In brief, it may be concluded that maternity leave may be sanctioned from the date prior to the date of delivery. i.e., from the onset of labour pains. Only the certificate from a medical officer with less than two surviving children. డెలివరీ అయి ఉండాలన్న నియమమేమీలేదు.అందుచేత డెలివరీ ముందు తేది నుండి కూడా డాక్టర్ సర్టిఫికెట్ మేరకు మంజూరు చెయ్యవచ్చును.

👨‍👧‍👧 "Leave Salary is payable in India after the end of each calendar month" అందువల్ల ప్రసూతి సెలవులో ఉన్న మహిళా ఉపాధ్యాయినిలు నెలనెలా జీతం పొందవచ్చు.

👨‍👧‍👧 ప్రసూతి సెలవును ఏ ఇతర సెలవులతో నైనా అనుసంధానం చేసుకోవచ్చును. బిడ్డ జన్మించిన తర్వాత సదరు తల్లి (ఉద్యోగి)యొక్క ఉపస్థితి అవసరమైతే డాక్టర్ సర్టిఫికెట్ మేరకు మెడికల్ లీవ్ అనుమతించవచ్చును.
Regular Leave in continuation of maternity leave may be also granted in case of illness of a newly born baby, subject to the female government servant produced medical certificate to the effect that the condition of the ailing baby warrants mother's personnel attention and her presence by the baby's side is absolutely necessary to vide *G.O.Ms.No.2391,Fin Dated 03-10-1960*
