Notional Annual Grade Increment to Retirement Date
Based on G.O.Ms. No.235, the following rules apply to employees whose increment date falls on the day following their retirement:
- Eligibility for Notional Increment: An employee is granted the benefit of a notional increment if their increment falls due on the day immediately following their retirement.
- Purpose of Benefit: This notional increment is granted purely for the purpose of pensionary benefits.
- Restrictions: The increment must not be considered for any purpose other than pensionary benefits.
- Effective Date: These orders came into force with immediate effect on October 27, 1998.
