G.O.Ms.No.231, dt:16-9-2005 - Paternity Leave

    Based on the document issued by the Finance (FR.I) Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh (G.O.Ms.No.231, dated 16-9-2005), here are the main points:

* Paternity Leave Sanction: Married male government employees are officially eligible for 15 days of paternity leave on full pay.

* Employee Eligibility: The benefit applies uniformly to both temporary and permanent state employees.

 @    Timing of Availment: The Paternity leave can be taken either in the 15 days prior to the delivery or within a period of 6 months from the date of delivery.
